Abstract:
We propose observations of a galaxy cluster, SPT-CL J0417-4748 (z = 0.58), which is a relaxed cool core cluster with the distinction of having the second highest cooling luminosity, lagging only the Phoenix cluster. Shallow Chandra observations have revealed i) a highly morphologically relaxed cluster, and ii) a hint of X-ray cavities in the center. Our proposal will definitively confirm these results, as well as allow us to characterize in detail the dynamical state, AGN feedback, thermodynamic structure and cosmological significance of this remarkable, massive, highly luminous and highly relaxed cluster.
