Abstract:
Radio and X-ray data provide complementary information on the dynamical state of the intracluster medium and particle acceleration on large scales in galaxy clusters. A pair of radio relics found in Abell 1889 suggest that it has undergone a recent major merger. The X-ray data will be searched for evidence of merger shocks and any other signatures of the dynamical state of the gas.

Remarks:
The PI agreed to change the target name to A1889 NW.
